Intertwined exists at the intersection of faith and the environment. It’s a place to explore how to be in a world where everyone and everything is injured by climate change. It’s a place to safely engage in open and challenging discussions about scripture, life, and justice, where deconstruction and reconstruction are welcome.
Indoortwined
Indoortwined is a gathering where we share in a time of centering, sacred readings, prayer, and fellowship. It occurs on most Sunday afternoons at 5pm from November through April when the outdoor weather is less hospitable.
We sometimes schedule other events, so check the banner or calendar link at the top of this page to learn about our next Sunday gathering. When the weather is fair, we might schedule a hike, and sometimes we meet via on our YouTube channel for a time of centering called Interconnect.

Weekday gatherings
Opportunities to meet occur throughout the week. In addition to our Sunday gatherings on City Island and online, we also meet for hikes, coffee, Bible study, and Thursday Interlude. Thus our conversations and community extend beyond Sunday.
Peace Out(doors)
By design, Intertwined does not own a building. Our Sunday gatherings (April to October) occur outdoors, typically in a grove of trees on City Island near Harrisburg (PA). Participants bring a camp chair and spend time centering, hearing sacred readings, praying, and engaging in fellowship.
